What caused the disaster to the human race after the toba eruption?

First direct cause of toba eruption is an earthquake that shatters most of the civilian buildings,many people died and many more are injured. The toba eruption also causes massive inflation of black smoke near the area of explosion and extends far around the globe.
The disasters caused are earthquake,blocking of sunlight for years and massive famine.
